Freethought Lebanon is conducting a series of online workshops which aim at building the capacities of the freethinking community in Lebanon. The workshops are part of an effort to empower secular activists in the community, both on personal and professional levels, with the skills and knowledge that will ultimately make the collective more effective and impactful.
The third workshop in this series, titled “Protection of Individuals at Risk”, will be conducted by Nercese Armani, a clinical psychologist with an MA in psychological support and dialogue, and coordinator of Freethought hotline. The workshop will feature a special guest, Emma Wadsworth-Jones, Casework & Campaigns Manager at Humanists International.
The workshop will cover the following themes:
• Psychological support and trauma
• Tools and skills needed to deal with high risk cases
• How Freethought Hotline is helping

The second workshop “Nonviolent Communication” was presented by senior trainer Tanya Awad Ghorra on September 25, 2021.
The last workshop will be announced in due time. It is titled:
