تم حديثاً تداول فيديو يُظهر موظفين تابعين لبلدية الغبيري وهم يقدمون طعاماً مسموماً للكلاب الشريدة الجائعة في المنطقة. آثار هذا الطعام المسموم سرعان ما بدأت تظهر على الكلاب، تشبه عوارض التسمم باللانات : رغوة بيضاء تسيل من الفم، تقلصات وتشنجات عضلية مصحوبة بالإختناق. ثم باشر الموظفون برمي الكلاب-وهي لا تزال تحتضر- في شاحنة كمن يرمي القمامة في المستوعبات.
