In 1945, Stalin was nominated by Halvdan Koht among seven candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, he did not explicitly nominate any of them. The person actually nominated was Cordell Hull. And In 1948, he was officially nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Wladislav Rieger.
